Speaking of those mundane, pitiful costume shirts, here they are at number 2 on the list. The people who don't bother to dress up tend to come in two different species: those who don't bother at all, and those who wear the "I didn't even try" costume shirts.

If you genuinely have a phobia of fancy dress, the internet now caters to your needs by selling costume themed shirts. Not just shirts that say costume on them, but shirts with Wonder Woman's breast plate, or Doctor Who's bow tie and blazer printed on them, so costumes can be worn without actually being worn.

These people are party leeches. They suck up all the candy but don't actually contribute to the vibe. The sad truth is, if you're too cool to wear a costume, you're probably too cool to apple-bob, dance or even be invited. Maybe this person should go home and stop stealing everyone's drink and candy.
