5. Leaving Your Facebook Account Signed In When Leaving The Room

We trust our friends and family members. We expect a certain amount of decency from them, to the point where leaving the room to do something as innocent as discretely removing waste without feeling like we're going to be exploited. Of course, most of us have succumbed to the temptation of teaching our friends and family that no, they can't trust us to look at their Facebook or Twitter without taking action. Nevermind if they're actually foolish enough to let us look at their phone. It's almost like we're doing them a favor. We get a good laugh while they learn a little bit more about how important it is to safeguard your belongings. Sure, they changed your sexual preferences on Facebook and Tweeted a seemingly nude picture of yourself (it's just an elbow), but they did it out of a weird sort of love that shouldn't be encouraged by anyone. To be clear, the lesson is to trust no one, especially when online bulletin boards are involved.
