Cockroaches are among the hardiest insects on Earth. They can survive with limited resources, have a higher radiation tolerance than humans and some can even go without oxygen for 45 minutes. Theyre also resilient enough to survive occasional freezes outdoors, and thats without a jacket. Cockroaches are also getting bigger as time goes on, with the largest ancient species being smaller than large modern species. Some native tribes insist that boiled cockroach tea is a remedy for hepatitis, along with heartburn and trauma. Gross.
