14. Happy Cats Cafe
The Project:
The inhabitants of Birmingham are in for something a little bit different with this venture. Happy Cats Cafe is a place where visitors can kick back with a drink and snack, surrounded by some feline friends. With up to ten cats expected to take up residence in the cafe - all adopted from the local Cramar Cat Rescue And Sanctuary - soon to be proprietors, Ally and Damian, will be creating areas for the cats to play, a place to loaf out, as well as, of course, plenty of comfy seating for the cat's human guests. In an extra touch of loveliness, the cafe is also opening its doors to those who would benefit from being around these animals, such as school children, people with learning disabilities and those enduring a mental illness.
Who's Behind It?
Self-confessed cat lovers and parents, Ally and Damian, head up this project and are confident they can take the West Midlands by storm with what will be their first entrepreneurial venture,
The Goal:
Cats will not watch us drink coffee if we all don't fund towards a goal of £10,000. This amount will help secure that all important venue, as well as decking it out for its two and four-legged inhabitants. Check out their page
