10. Knowing Full Well That Han Shot First (Apparently)
Theres no denying that when old Georgey boy released the 1997 Special Edition of the Star Wars Trilogy he raised the hackles of legions of Star Wars purists the world over. The controversy surrounding the scene where Han and bug-eyed cactus Greedo square up in the Mos Eisley cantina before Han blows him away has obviously become the most important question in the history of humanity. Not just cinema. Humanity. What so riled up the Star Wars hordes is that Lucas purposefully added a shot where Greedo shoots at Han first and misses (something which the fan base should be as equally up in arms about given he shot at him from point blank range. A completely useless bounty hunter if alls told) before Han returns fire, offing Greedo instantly. So it turns out Han shot second after digital manipulation. Who cares? Certainly not Harrison Ford who, when asked in a 2014 interview about who shot first, replied, I dont care. But for claritys sake, let the record show that Greedo shot first.
Chris James Peet says hello. His interests include hoping for the best and sitting in chairs. He much prefers moaning to counting his blessings and suffers fools gladly. He also likes to look out of the window and check what's in the fridge but he hates standing up, dripping taps and reality.
