13. You Aren't Invited To The High Powered Meetings
If the email debacle were not enough of a clue, remember that high powered meeting you were meant to be sitting in on? Being told at the door not to worry about attending is definitely not a good sign. The meeting hasn't changed, they'll still be discussing the same things, so what changed? Well, the fact that everything said in the meeting is a good example. It's just not relevant to you anymore, cause you've only got another month here before you're kicking cans in the street. This can be avoided, but only with great skill. You'll need to convince them, subtly, that you have significant and profitable things to add to the meeting. Once you're back through the door, you can start working your butt off in order to impress the right people and start them second guessing about your sudden lack of employability.
