15 Things You Miss About Being A Kid At Christmas

15. Believing Any Old Tosh

Technically, Christmas is a fairytale-like event celebrated the world over that involves a virgin birth, an appalling bunch of presents and a donkey. This is the general premise that was and is spoon fed to gullible kids every year. And bless their naïve little hearts, they€™ll go along with anything if it ultimately ends up with them getting an Xbox on the day itself. The same goes with Santa. A mysterious old fat man dressed in a garish red jump suit stuffing gifts down a chimney that invariably doesn€™t exist warms the cockles of your heart when you€™re a kid. You believed absolutely anything was possible. In fact, a recent survey of 1000 kids showed the majority of them thought Jesus Christ played for Chelsea, and the Three Wise Men found the stable thanks to Google Maps. Ah, to be a child at Christmas.
