4. The Irresistible, Inconceivable Appeal Of Buckfast
http://youtu.be/OldkpjcusqE Buckfast - a fortified wine made by Benedictine monks - is an utterly vile drink which you would not serve up at a drinks/dinner party in Northern Ireland. Guests would look at you in horror. However, drinking Buckfast is very de rigeur in parts of Northern Ireland, especially in The Craigavon area, where it is known as 'Lurgan Champagne' such is its popularity. Usually favoured by ne'er do wells and rowdy characters, Buckfast is also known as 'Wreck the House' due to its stimulating effect that makes people behave badly. The likelihood of enjoying the taste of 'Buckie' is slim, most females wouldn't touch it with a bargepole and it is drunk to make the drinker look 'hard'. Truly revolting.
