15 Things You Wrongly Think About Pregnancy

5. All Pregnant Women Have A Glow

If you watch nearly any '90s sitcom where one of the characters becomes pregnant you will inevitably hear the line "Oh, you're absolutely glowing!". Though, what does that even mean? Do pregnant women literally glow (and if so, do they glow in the dark)? Well, this "glow" that everybody raves about is, sad to say, nothing more than wishful thinking. While it's true that pregnancy hormones can change your skin, don€™t expect a perfect complexion and nothing else. In fact, pregnancy can bring about an entire list of skin problems that you never even considered. This includes: acne, melasma, eczema, and, of course, stretch marks. So while you probably won't be "glowing" anytime soon, with simple medications (like moisturizer, cleansers, acne medication, etc) you can at least look your normal self... just a little pregnant.
