Repressed, sadistic and cruel Margaret White is the one mother you would hate to have as your own. She has an ever lasting obsession with trying to cast out all sin and evil in the world in the world, despite her own daughter holding on to powers of telekinesis. White does not agree with any thoughts of sexual exploration and attempts to develop this adversity into her own daughter by not allowing her to attend a prom or holding a conversation about growing into womanhood. She beats and stabs her own daughter as her own erratic beliefs get into her mind and turn her into a psychopath obsessed with cleansing the world.
