A familiar face to everyone. Dexter was born with an urge to kill those who have committed heinous crimes and escaped any form of punishment. He works as a forensic bloody splatter pattern analyst which comes in use when youre getting your own hands bloodied on a regular basis. He has an addiction and a compulsion to kill, which stems from childhood after witnessing the brutal murder of his own mother. Dexter is known as one character the audience can sympathise with and see his acts as that of praised vigilantism rather than just viewing him for what he really is; a blood thirsty killer.
