7. Doctor's Poor Handwriting Causes 7,000 Deaths Annually

Fact. You go to the doctors when you're sick because you believe that the person you are talking to is medically equipped to be able to make you better. They'll listen you you, sympathise with you and prescribe you things you need to help you recover, so why can't doctors write properly? Just write something that resembles anything other than a scrawl of... scrawls. They have a reputation of having the most illegible handwriting in the world and the proof is there that they do. Their illegibility kills 7,000 people annually with wrong prescriptions and being unable to treat them properly because others can't read the diagnosis.
