10. He Is The Youngest Male To Have Ever Been Awarded The Nobel Peace Prize
Dr Martin Luther King Jr was previously the youngest-ever Nobel Peace Prize laureate - but now it is 17-year-old Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai after she claimed the award in 2014. However, King remains the youngest-ever male recipient, having been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964 at the age of 65. Explaining their decision to honour Civil Rights Movement leader King, the awarding committee said: "(He is the) first person in the Western world to have shown us that a struggle can be waged without violence."
