14. The Jaws Nods In Diagon Alley
The Easter Eggs in The Wizarding World aren't limited to Harry Potter lore. Thanks to the former popularity of the Jaws ride (which sadly closed in 2012 to make way for the Potter expansion), there are references to Spielberg's Amity-set classic horror. For a start, up in the window of a record shop in Diagon Alley is an album by the Quint Trio entitled, Heres to Swimming With Bowlegged Women.
Then there's a set of shark jaws in the Apothocary shop window sited next to Florean Fortescues Ice Cream Parlour. And of course, the shrunken heads in Knockturn Alley can also be heard singing some of Quints favorite tunes including Show Me The Way to Go Home.
Incidentally, if you're looking for a job there, you'll need to be an expert on Harry Potter: the interview process includes a trivia section, so start doing your homework.
