12. It's Rubbish When You're Put On A Different Section To Your Work BFF
Things happen at work that you never quite recover from, and being separated from your best friend is one of them. In your first week at WH Smiths, the new kids tend to be stuck together and moved around the store in order to help them find their feet, recognise at least some of the aisles, learn the tills, etc. You make a couple of friends who take the piss out of the job just like you do: and you're happy because no matter how bad the job might be, you've got your fun friends to see you through each shift. Nope. You didn't even get that lucky. You're assigned to the lottery till: disaster. And then your WHSmith BFF is sent to THE CD SECTION. Without you. NOOOOOOOOOO. You find yourself lonely and stuck with a couple of weirdos in your area, while your new friend bounces off into the quiet paradise of the CD aisles, never to be seen again.
