As if fending for yourself out in between the two pockets of humanity that are the tills and collection wasn't enough, you've then got to convince people that the robotic self-service machine is more worthy of their time than you are. At the end of the day it's a touch-screen interface with a card reader that may or may not break down and spit a receipt roll out at any second - but so help you, this is an 'innovative new way to shop' and must be bowed down to at all times. Now, if we could just get a Robo-Manager with an auto "Please leave!" button to be deployed when anyone mentions the word "return", we'd be sorted.
