13. Israeli Nuclear Embargo
Israeli Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion was no friend of the Kennedy dynasty; Ben-Gurion was outspokenly suspicious of Kennedy's father possibly being an anti-Semite who had allied with Hitler during the Holocaust. It wasn't just this that conspiracy theorists allege did President Kennedy in with Israel, but rather his refusal to allow Israel to develop a nuclear weapons program. Some conspiracy theorists who believe Ben-Gurion ordered the hit on President Kennedy also point to his successor, Lyndon B. Johnson (who, believe me, I'll get to later) who reversed this decision during his tenure in office. Coincidence?
