There must be something about that Latina blood, because much of what was said about Penelope Cruz earlier can be said about Eva Mendes and then some. She's been around for a while, as far as her acting career is concerned. She has dabbled in modeling, and is the spokesmodel for multiple companies. Most importantly, though, she continues to be one of the most beautiful women alive today, and looks just as good today as she did in, say, 2001, when she played Sara (Denzel Washington's character's girlfriend) in Training Day, and she had a nude sex scene in that one. Another similarity between Mendes and Cruz is that Eva also became a mother recently, which might indicate that her career will, at the very least, take a back seat for a little while. It's understandable, but still disappointing, for her fans that want to continue seeing her in everything possible.
