20 Celebs You Won't Believe Turned 40 This Year

1. Leonardo DiCaprio

It seems like just yesterday that Leonardo DiCaprio was getting high praise for his role as the mentally handicapped Arnie Grape in What's Eating Gilbert Grape. Jim Carroll in The Basketball Diaries also doesn't seem like that long ago. How about Romeo Montague in Romeo & Juliet? Hell, because people still talk about it, his role as Jack Dawson in Titanic seems like it just happened, too. Those movies came out in 1993, 1995, 1996 and 1997, respectively, folks. Even with all that time gone by, there are people out there who still view him as that 23-year-old who starred in Titanic. Everyone knows someone who feels that way, and if not, it's probably you. He does movie after movie after movie, winning all kinds of awards (except Academy Awards) and making all kinds of box office money, but whether he's playing a slave plantation owner, a cop undercover in the Costello mob family, an "extractor", or a legendary business tycoon, he's still looked at as the little poor kid who found love on a cruise ship. With a potentially busy 2015 ahead of him, it remains to be seen how much this continues on, but as long as he looks young like he does, expect it to go on.
