Is this not the happiest fact you've ever read? Wayne Allwine was the third person to ever voice Mickey Mouse in 1977. While working at the studio, he fell in love with his future wife Russi Taylor. She just so happened to be the voice actress playing Mickey's ladyface, Minnie. The lovemice said they wouldn't have been able to take on the roles so well unless they possessed the same mannerisms. In an interview with Allwine he admitted Mickey's naivety and optimism had rubbed off on him: "You know you just have to love the little guy while you have him, because he won't be yours forever." And Mickey was his forever, or at least for 32 years, until he passed away in 2009.
