Showing the flags of the British Commonwealth and its allies inside a "'V' for victory" symbol, this poster was one of a series depicting the military personnel who were trying to overthrow the so-called "Nazi tyranny".

This idea of "good vs evil" was a key propaganda tool employed by the British government throughout the Second World War.
