Law's Origin: 1999

Risk of Prosecution: $500 fine and six months in jail

If you thought it might be funny to order your friend a slice of 'za without them knowing, think again. In Louisiana, prank selling a pizza or ordering it for a friend to be delivered without their prior knowledge will get you smacked with a $500 fine.

The offender also may have to spend time in jail, make restitution to the victim's family, and is subject to any other punishments the court sees fit to the crime. Apparently the justice system in Louisiana is a sadistic child pulling the wings off a fly and can't take a joke. All prank calls are considered harassment, end of story.

Our Rating: Just eat the pizza. No big deal.
