20 Joe Rogan Experience Episodes You Must Listen From 2020

11. Daryl Davis - Episode #1419

You might not have known who Daryl Davis was before this particular episode of the JRE. Unlike some of the other names we've got on this list, he's not a huge name or celebrity of any sorts. However, by the end of it, you'll be very aware of his own personal and unique battle against racism.

Although primarily a jazz musician who has worked with legends such as B.B King and Muddy Waters, Davis also speaks to Ku Klux Klan members and tries to get them to give up their ways. While that might seem like a crazy idea to some, since he began doing this, he's been directly responsible for 40 to 60 people leaving the Klan.

One of the most interesting parts of their conversation comes from Davis explaining why he feels the need to do this. After all, it could've ended up with him being killed or badly hurt. However, it's clear that his need to change the minds of those who hate him for the colour of his skin surpasses any fear that might be able to hold him back
