Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights 2025 Houses - Ranked!
HHN34 has absolutely killer houses, but which one do we think is the best?
Universal Orlando Resort's Halloween Horror Nights is the biggest event in the world for horror fans. Starting in August and running until November 2nd the spookiest event on the Halloween calendar gives guests 66 nights of terrifying frights.
HHN turns Universal Studios Florida's streets into elaborate scare zones with mutated creatures, vampires and even chainsaw wielding gangs ready to pounce in the fog.
Despite the hellishly good treats, awesome scare zones and fabulous drinks, what HHN is most famous for is the 10 incredibly elaborate haunted houses they unleash each year.
This time some of the biggest names in horror grace the house line up including Terrifier, Friday the 13th's Jason Voorhees, Fallout, WWE Presents: the Wyatt Sicks and Five Nights at Freddy's.
With the other 5 unique houses originating from the twisted minds behind HHN, this year looks set to be one of the best ever.
Having experienced every house, we've done the incredibly difficult task of deciding which is the best of HHN34.
I'm incredibly excited to report that this year's event is one of the absolute best ever. There was not a single house that had it appeared in any other year would have ranked below 5th place. The team at Universal have outdone themselves for their 34th year.
Let's find out which house takes the crown...
10. Hatchet and Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters
The House
It's about to get hot in the wild west as red hot lava demons descend upon the town. Crawling out of Hell's Well the demons are looking to posses anyone in their path. The jail, the post office, even the bank isn't safe from these creatures. There's only two that can stop them.
Hatchet and Chains have returned to HHN and are bringing with them an "arsenal of mystical weapons" to defeat any demons they come across. The question is will they save the day before you succumb to the lava demons?
The Verdict
There is definitely no filler, only killer at HHN34 but unfortunately in the very nature of ranking, one must finish at the bottom. This year it falls to Hatchet and Chains.
Putting Hatchet and Chains in this position might be controversial. Any other year I am confident I would have ranked this house in 5th place or even higher! It's a very strong house with great set pieces and creepy demons. I particularly loved the scene with the train as it raced into town.
If you love a cowboy theme in your horror then Hatchet and Chains will be a winner.
