20 London Attractions You Need To Visit Before You Die

13. The Camden Markets

It can get very busy, but Camden offers a massive variety of things to do. Chief among this is the Camden Markets, made up primarily of three main retail areas: the Stables Market, Camden Lock Market, and Camden Lock Village. The Stables Market is probably the most unique, thanks to its location in and around a series of horse tunnels. The tight pathways and wealth of street food vendors can make it feel like walking through the city from Bladerunner, and it's a very novel experience. The markets themselves tend to specialise in alternative clothing, generally catering to a multitude of sub-cultures, although savvy shoppers will be able to find just about anything. Beyond retail, there's also a number of great pubs, restaurants, and even the filming location for Baker Street in BBC's Sherlock TV series nearby. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSR5DbiYtnk
