When Capone was arrested in 1931, the FBI trawled through all of his dodgy dealings looking for a way to make their tax evasion charges stick. Incredibly they estimated that Capone himself was worth $100million (£67million) at the time - approximately $1.54billion (£1.03billion) today. Quite a criminal empire...
