Perhaps that's something of an understatement. Warren G Harding was kind of terrible at the whole wagering business, but that didn't stop him from playing illegal poker games at the White House. Even during prohibition, he had trusted political pals into the Oval Office to drink moonshine and play cards, gambling loads of money and rarely actually winning any of it. Controversy followed Harding throughout his career. He was mostly a well-liked president, but he got into that position mainly by exploiting his connections as a journalist and essentially cheating his way into the Republican leader's chair, and he had a tonne of affairs. Worst of all, though, is probably the time he lost all the White House china in a bet.
