15. The First Image Displayed On A Macintosh Was Of Disney's Scrooge McDuck... Ironically Sitting On Money Bags

When Apple was creating the Macintosh behind the scenes during the early-1980s, the company tried many different types of imagery in order to establish the highest-quality resolution screen possible. During this development stage, the first image that was displayed on a prototype Mac was of Disney's Scrooge McDuck - an elderly cartoon Scottish duck who is supposedly the world's richest person. It's quite apt that, in the first image featured on Apple's Mac computers, Scrooge McDuck is pictured sitting on money bags stuffed full of cash while playing the fiddle - something the company's owners could quite feasibly replicate in real life...
