14. The Apple I Computer Originally Sold For $666.66... But Not For Satanic Reasons

The original 4K Apple I (pictured above) went on sale in July 1976 for $666.66 (£447.41) - or roughly $2,760 (£1,850) nowadays - which caused uproar in the Christian community, with many claiming this price was chosen for satanic reasons due to the fact it is the "number of the beast". However, co-owner Steve Wozniak is adamant that the reason this price was chosen was because, when the company costed up the Apple I, it came to $667.00 - but $666.66 "was just an easier way to type"...
