20. Clinton Has Been Accused Of Having A Number Of Extra-Martial Affairs... (Not Just With White House Intern Monica Lewinsky)

Bill Clinton€™s affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky dogged the final two years of his presidency. Citizen journalist Matt Drudge first made the claims of Clinton€™s extra-marital affair in January 1998, but the President publicly denied it. However, with Paula Jones - an Arkansas state employee who claimed Clinton had previously propositioned her - bringing a legal case against the President, barristers searched around for evidence of any past affairs. Eventually they found that a former White House secretary had recorded telephone conversations in which Lewinsky had spoken of her sexual relationships with Clinton - yet the President still denied it under oath. Infamously, Clinton said: "I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky." Interestingly, in 1992 porn actress Gennifer Flowers claimed she had been in a relationship with Clinton that started in 1980 and the President first denied this, before confirming that it had actually happened. Then in 1998 White House intern Kathleen Willey alleged Clinton groped her in a hallway in 1993, but this was dismissed by the FBI. In 2014, actress Liz Hurley also had to deny suggestions that she and Clinton had been involved.
