19. Thatcher Ate 28 Eggs A Week When Undergoing A Bizarre Diet Plan Just Before Becoming Prime Minister
Two weeks before she became Prime Minister in 1979, Thatcher was undertaking a bizarre diet plan - presumably in order to put herself in tip-top shape incase she won the election. With the diet constructed in the hope she could lose 20lbs in just a fortnight, Thatcher ate 28 eggs every week. Other regular ingredients she consumed included grapefruit, black coffee, spinach and tomatoes.
