15. The St. Peter's Street Survey Slalom
Shopping in Derby city centre is never too much fun at the best of times - the giant eyesore that is the Intu shopping centre (more on that later) might have taken a lot of the pedestrian traffic off the streets but St. Peter's Street continues to be something of a minefield to negotiate. If the throngs of shoppers weren't bad enough, St. Peter's Street's clipboard-wielding survey people really keep you on your toes. If you're not careful that short walk from one end to the other can last an hour, so the Derbeian pressed for time (or tested for patience) has to negotiate the street like a slalom race.
