West Wales is an ideal holiday destination, with Tenby in particular a favourite seaside resort of many. With golden sands, rolling hills and forests, it is no wonder it attracts so many holidaymakers each summer. But if you keep on going, past Swansea and Tenby on the train, you'll reach the farthest point - Pembroke Dock.

Once a bustling naval dockyard, Pembroke Dock has now become something of a lifeless town. The dockyard sit empty, the RAF base that followed it also closed and now it stands as a silent testament to the glories of the past. At least it has one more recent claim to fame - from 1979 at least; the full-scale Millennium Falcon built for The Empire Strikes Back was created in one of Pembroke Dock's hangars by Marcon Fabrications.
