20 Problems Only People From Warrington Will Understand

3. The Black Hand

Far from some menacing underworld triad, there's an unspoken understanding in Warrington. See a (barely) breathing human being with a black mark on their hand? Be considerate. Be understanding. This person is struggling. They're ill. They're marked with the emblem of poison, fatigue and a series of poor decisions. This person is likely to have their eyes half closed, drool and walk with a limp because some fat tosser in steel-toed boots who came straight from work (and didn't bother to change shirts) kicked them in the shin last night. They're unlikely answer to their name and speak much coherent English. They will recover. We know that. But at this point in time, they're unavailable for regular human interaction.

Betting on being a brilliant brother to Bodhi since 2008 (-1 Asian Handicap). Find me @LiamJJohnson on Twitter where you might find some wonderful pearls of wisdom in a stout cocktail of profanity, football discussion and general musings. Or you might not. Depends how red my eyes are.
