14. You Can't Go Clubbing On Week Nights

YoutubeClub night flyers are a consistent irritant at university. It's impossible to enter or leave campus without having a crudely designed piece of card thrust in your general direction by a bored employee being paid peanuts to essentially litter the area with rubbish. These flyers are adorned with club events with amusing names that are going on throughout the week. It doesn't matter whether it's a warm Friday night or a freezing cold Tuesday, there's always something going on somewhere with a packed dancefloor and drinks that cost about as much as postage stamps. In the summer though, these nights quickly disappear. Outside of the university bubble, clubs don't do much business in the week and you'll probably have to wait until the weekend. It's time to start enjoying late-night repeats of The Inbetweeners and drinking at home.
13. There's No Spontaneity To Dinner Time

FoxTo say that dinners aren't pre-planned at university is the understatement of the century. Students consume food when they're hungry - whenever that is - and the meals aren't exactly worthy of a Michelin Star. In fact, a student meal is usually a hastily assembled collection of whatever is left in the freezer or the contents of the local takeaway outlet. At home, it's often a different matter. Family shops are completed with specific meal choices in mind and parents want to know your dinner preferences at least a few hours in advance. The spontaneity is gone and, with it, there goes the joy of eating cereal and chips for the third time in a week.
