7. It's OK To Contact You At Any Time Of Day

Not only do they like to text you the most trivial things going on in their life, they seem to think that doing so at any time, day or night, is acceptable. You remember a time in the not so distant past where getting a phonecall between 9pm and 8am was pretty much code for 'something horrendous has happened'. Nowadays though, you'll get a text at midnight saying something like "OMG have you seen Halle Berry's new haircut?!? LOL". There are few things that could interest you at that time of night... and that isn't one of them.
