It's tough being the new face at work, and your younger co-workers can get worried that if their work isn't up to scratch, they'll quickly be replaced by someone who catches on a little quicker. So before they send their work off to the boss who could potentially realise that they haven't got a clue what they're doing, you get asked to have a quick look first. Helping people out is fine by your books, but the extra workload isn't great.
