Jerome Moody died in 1985 in New orleans at a pool party that was hosted by loads of lifeguards. He drowned. 100 lifeguards threw a pool party to celebrate the fact that there hadn't been any deaths in pools in the city over the summer, something which hadn't happened in a very long time. At the end of the party, Moody was found dead at the bottom of the pool, fully dressed and despite there being over 100 lifeguards at the party, with a number of them actually being on duty, they were unable to revive him.
