Garry Hoy was unfortunately a victim of a demonstration gone wrong. He wanted to prove to a number of students that the glass in the building was unbreakable and the only way to prove that is to run and jump right into it. However, although the glass didn't break, the entire window did came out of its frame. Unfortunately Hoy fell to his death to prove a point. But he was sort of right, it was unbreakable glass.
