20 Things You Didn't Know About Coca-Cola

10. And They're Worth A Bit Of Money

Coca-Cola makes quite a lot of money. About $35.1 billion per year on average, in fact, with valuations putting the company at a net worth of $74 billion - that's more than Budweiser, Pepsi, Starbucks and Red Bull combined. Which isn't surprising, since they've toyed with ruthless business practices in the past like rising or lowering vending machine prices depending on the outside temperature.

9. Coke Is One Of The World's Biggest Economies

Yep, that' how much money they make. They're not, y'know, a world power unto themselves on the level of the USA, but the Coca-Cola company is technically the 84th largest economy in the world, just ahead of Costa Rica, thanks to that $35.1 billion in revenue. Which is good, since their advertising expenses exceed $3 billion in 2011. Yikes.
