19. The Day Shift Feels Like A Spa Weekend
In contrast, seeing your name listed on the day shift on the rota is the equivalent of 10 massages at once. You can pack your books and get some studying done or catch up on your emails. No one is drunk yet and lunch is breezier than dinner. Also, your workmates are great (mostly) but there is nothing like the rare, solo day shift. You'll voluntarily do stocktake and feel like a glorious angel creature.
