The eldest sibling is the test run a chance for your parents to not only decide if this is really for them, but also a chance to make mistakes that they wont repeat on their future offspring. Not only that, but your parents put a ridiculous amount of pressure on your shoulders, because youre the first born and you have to show those smaller than you the way. Studies show that parents are three times more likely to expect more academically from their first born than their other children, and the middle child thought they had it rough. Not to mention the pressure on you to have a career, marriage and your own kids.
