20 Things That Are Gone But Not Forgotten From Walt Disney World
5. Studio Backlot Tour
Part of the opening day attractions at Hollywood Studios, the Studio Backlot Tour took guests on a journey behind the scenes and into the studios.
When the Studio Backlot Tour began it really did take you into a working Studio. The tour lasted much longer and even included a walking segment. Over the years as the studio part of the park closed and buildings changed uses, the tour was scaled back.
Studio Backlot Tour closed permanently in 2014 and the land it once occupied will be part of both Toy Story Land and Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.
4. McDonald's
For years the dream team of Walt Disney World and McDonalds made the Magic Kingdom the happiest place on Earth.
Even though you were Disney you could still get your favourite McDonalds fries and burgers. The partnership lasted for over 10 years, but even the best duos part ways in the end.
McDonalds food was phased out from the parks in 2008 and now all that remains is a stand alone restaurant near the All-Star Resorts.
