12. Retail Workers Are Clever Cookies Too
And can multitask like a boss, so keep up. People tend to look down their noses are retail workers for some reason and they treat them with the mentality of "you just work in a shop, what difference are you making to the world". In reality, the world would shut down if everyone who worked in retail refused to go in to work. No shops, no cinema, no restaurants - imagine having to stay in and talk to your family? The horror. Most people have years of customer service experience which make them extremely valuable to the company and many younger workers are happy to have a job and they're probably working their way through their Masters degrees too. Obviously the public never think of that.
