20 Totally Bizarre Places You Won't Believe Actually Exist

The world is a wonderful place full of all kinds of beautiful, scenic locations. Man-made and natural wonders are everywhere you look, for example you only need to look at the geysers at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, or the stunning architecture of Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany to know just how many unbelievable sights there are in the world. But the world is also filled with places that are totally and utterly insane, too. There are places you probably didn't want to know existed like the Bangkok Forensic Museum where you'll be treated to the delights of seeing the corpses of dangerous killers, or the Aokigahara Forest in Japan, the world's second most-popular suicide spot. There are also bizarre places you're desperate to find out more about, such as the Winchester Mystery House, a seven-story house built by a widow under the 'request' of her dead husband. If you're the kind of person who thinks the world is full of sweetness and delight, it's probably safer for your mental state that you stop reading now. However if you're intrigued as to what creepy oddities the world has to offer, then read on...

20. Bangkok Forensic Museum

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TN0wOiUrAzo Most people visit museums with the intention of learning something new or just for a fun day out, but if you're interested in feeling more cultured when you leave the museum, Bangkok Forensic Museum may be a bit of a surprise. This weird and wonderful museum is situated at the Siriraj Hospital in Bangkok, which is pretty bizarre in itself. The museum includes a whole host of unusual displays including a roomful of dead babies which have been affected by genetic disorders. But the main 'attraction' is the forensic part of the museum where the displays get even creepier. This exhibition displays the bodies of some of Bangkok's most dangerous killers alongside bodies of people who have been killed in various ways, either by murder, accident or other disturbing means. Many reviews of the museum suggest a nearby cafe if you're feeling a little squeamish by this point but they also mention that they found it very hard to keep down a cup of coffee after seeing so much horror in one place. It seems that the Bangkok Forensic Museum really isn't for the fainthearted, and we're quite amazed that it's even allowed to exist, but we also probably wouldn't say no to a little visit...
