18. Sleep Is Your Best Friend
One of the worst, most infuriating things about being a kid surely had to be getting told when to go to bed. It was the ultimate indicator of your lack of authority, that you weren't even allowed to be tired when you wanted - which, let's face it, was never. There was nothing better than partaking in a sleepover when in the company of another little schemer, you might even have a midnight snack and stay up till 3am discussing playground politics. Then you become a teenager, go out all the time and stay in bed late when you can. You learn to appreciate sleep. It's worthwhile and refreshing.
