17. Poutine
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xc8jQ4K_KBI Did you know that the McFlurry originated in Canada? However, that dairy delight can now be found in several parts of the world, Britain included, and with your choice of Dairy Milk, Crunchie, or Smarties, no less. That said, perhaps it's time that the country gave the world another culinary treat, one that is ubiquitously Canadian. And what is more Canadian than poutine? No fancy "Mc" prefix here; the Quebecois who invented it would probably not allow it. Nonetheless, this dish tops McDonald's world-famous french fries with a heaping helping of cheese curds, then coats the whole thing in brown gravy, making a delicious mess that is a perfect cold-weather treat. Not content to settle on the classic version, McDonald's Canada has also introduce a Spicy Buffalo Chicken Poutine, which adds green onions, Buffalo sauce, and your choice of grilled or crispy chicken pieces on top.
