These days, you can put hundreds of video clips, songs, images and whatever else you feel like carrying around with you on a USB stick. Back in the 90s, it wasn't so simple. Your 1.44 megabyte floppy disk would let you carry around a couple of images (drawn in Microsoft Paint) and a couple of .wav files of South Park quotes at best.
