17. The Danger Of Alcohol-Filled Chocolates
Sure, I'll try one of the new chocolates. Oh, a brandy truffle, you say? Well, it's probably just brandy flavour, right?
Wrong.
Normally, it's not too big a deal, as the alcohol content in the chocolate is so low that you'd get sick from eating too much before you got drunk. But when you're six hours into a shift, with a totally empty stomach, a couple of alcohol-filled chocolates will leave you at best a bit light-headed, and at worst leaning on the till until the room stops swaying.
