22. You Miss "The Rec" Water Slide

Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre AKA "The Rec" is right in the heart of the town and everyone who grew up in Aycliffe has, at some point, used it for the swimming pool, rock climbing facilities, football courts and/or the gym. The swimming pool used to have a slide, but it was ruthlessly taken away and the people of the town miss it, God damn it! And Nessie. They miss Nessie too (Nessie was a massive inflatable "Loch Ness" type monster that kids could climb all over).
